This Slimline II rack kit is designed specifically for the Jeep JL 2 door model. The kit includes all the necessary components to mount the Slimline II cargo carrying rack to your Jeep. The components included in this kit are as follows:
- Slimline II Tray: The kit comes with the Slimline II Tray, which measures 1425mm x 1762mm. This tray provides a rugged, sophisticated, and high-performance platform for carrying your cargo.
- Jeep Extreme Mounting System: Included in the kit is the Jeep Extreme Mounting System. This mounting system is rugged, sophisticated, and nearly indestructible. It allows for quick removal of the Freedom Panels and works with the hardtop roof on or with no roof at all.
- Wind Deflector: The kit also includes a Wind Deflector, which helps improve aerodynamics and reduces wind noise while driving with the roof rack installed.
Drilling is required for the installation of this rack kit. The Front Runner Jeep Extreme mounting system is secured to the roll bar with middle and rear brackets. This mounting solution is unobtrusive and allows for quick removal of the Freedom Panels, working seamlessly with the hardtop or with no roof at all. Freedom Panels can be quickly and easily removed with the rack in place. The cargo weight is evenly distributed across the roll bars and body of the Jeep, placing zero weight or stress on the hardtop itself.
